Jenny Zapf is the Director of the Education Entrepreneurship Masters program at the University of Pennsylvania in the graduate school of Education as well as the founding director of the first program in Education Entrepreneurship and Innovation in a graduate school of education and also the founder of the first dual-degree from the Wharton MBA school.
During her interview she elaborates deeply on the 13-month accelerator program that’s targeted to adult-learners working to develop a “passion project” that impacts local communities, their contacts, and economies. With education at its core the program aims for working-professionals to apply business, entrepreneurial, and marketing skills whilst working in lean entrepreneurial cycles applying design thinking and agile learning strategies to help extract their ideas to eventually build something that can be sustained and have a long-term impact.
