16 Jul 2019

EETN organised its first Intensive Study Programme (ISP), hosted by one of our four Project Partners - University College London. During this five-day intensive training, we gathered together staff and students of our partner organisations to work with invited teachers and experts, representing different views of the European EdTech scene.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, we decided to organise an official launch of the European EdTech Network, sharing our objectives and mission and calling the EdTech representatives in Europe to join us in our efforts, to build this unique space, where EdTech industry can share and exchange relevant, cutting-edge knowledge, bringing HE in Europe to the next level.

The event exceeded our expectations. We hosted over 150 attendees from all over the world. They were networking, listening to our presentations and expert pannels and actively participating in discussions around the role of EdTech in Higher Education.

Uniting all the edtech players under one platform Lucía Figar, Chairwoman IE Rockets

Both our pannels, were chaired by well-known educational experts:
- Professor Rose Luckin, Director of UCL EDUCATE
- Mary Curnock Cook, Educational Consultant and former CEO of UCAS
